 From $75K in Debt to Financial Freedom - How I Took Control of My Money & Built Wealth

There was a time when I had $75,000 in debt, more than my annual base salary at the time. In today's dollars, that would be roughly $115,000.

And here's the thing, I made good money!

I wasn't struggling because I couldn't earn. I needed a better system for what I was doing with the money I earned.

So I got serious about my finances. I started tracking my spending, measuring my progress, and making intentional decisions about where my money went. I stopped just making payments and started creating a strategy.

It wasn't an overnight transformation. I didn't manifest my way out of debt, and there wasn't one magical financial decision that changed everything.

I built wealth by understanding my numbers, creating simple systems, making consistent decisions, and measuring what mattered.

Over time, I paid off the debt, built my investments, and reached financial freedom.

That experience is a big part of why I became a financial coach. I know what it's like to have a good career and a good income and still wonder, "Why don't I feel further ahead?"

I help people understand where their money is going, create simple financial systems, make intentional decisions with their money, and build their investment knowledge so they can turn the income they're already earning into long-term wealth.

I bring both personal experience and professional expertise to my coaching. I hold an MBA and a bachelor's degree in Business Management, spent more than 15 years in Human Resources, and am a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). I'm also an Accredited Financial Counselor® through AFCPE and a U.S. Army veteran.
